Uniform Update

  • Orders placed on or before Sept 3rd should be ready before weekend (80-90% of the program)
  • Please look for an email from Wilton Soccer & Rugby with confirmation
  • Pickup orders in store, remember WSA members receive 20% off all non-uniform apparel and gear purchased at the store
  • Orders placed after Sept 3rd will not be ready for this weekend
  • To get through first game, recommend players wear or borrow from teammates old WSA blue or white jersey, blue shorts and blue socks or, as close to this as is possible (blue and white shirt of any kind will suffice)
  • Players/families with old WSA uniforms, please help your teammates!

Game Schedules for Sunday 9/13

  • We have received preliminary game schedules for Sunday, Sept 13th from our league director and are working to assess logistics to confirm.

  • We may elect to pivot to Wilton-only scrimmages for this first Sunday for all or some and will let you know ASAP if we do, but for now, on assumption we proceed with scheduled league games

    • Teams with Home games will be scheduled (times and locations) in next 24 hours and updated on www.wiltonsoccer.com and GameChanger app for all to view, Managers will need to confirm these times and locations with opponents

    • Away games (times, locations) will be set in the next 48-72 hours as we must await confirmation from opponents’ team managers. As soon as we receive them they will be added to www.wiltonsoccer.com and the GameChanger app

    • Some teams will not have league games this weekend due to scheduling dynamics. At coach discretion, we may offer an intra squad/Wilton-only scrimmage in its place.

Game day rules for contests in Wilton

  • Please review carefully the guidelines for league games/contests hosted in Wilton HERE as approved by the Town of Wilton and Wilton Parks & Recreation

  • Each player and their one allowed family member should complete the Visitor Screening Form HERE before each home contest

  • Managers should share the home contest guidelines and the screening form with opponents’ manager prior to the game for their review, sharing with respective team, please highlight the one spectator per player limit

New systems / lots of kinks to work out!

  • Please note the new software systems imposed by CJSA to schedule games and communicate with teams, opponents and referees are all new to WSA and all other teams in our district

  • As such, processes and workflows are still being sorted, and users are just now being trained (on the fly!)

  • Like everything this season and these days, flexibility and patience are all we can ask as we work through it together.
